TATA Siera EV

TATA Siera EV

If you lived in India during the 1990s, talk about the Tata Sierra and you’ll get hit with a big wave of nostalgia. It was a lifestyle SUV well before lifestyle SUV was a marketing buzzword. It wins hearts with outstanding design and Tata Sierra EV 2026 comes back with the more beautiful design and color which beautifully crafted tribute to our heritage, and a bold vision for tomorrow’s electric mobility.

If you are eagerly waiting for this new icon of Tata Motors then take a look at the price, range, features, and everything you need to know about this exciting electric beast.

The Comeback We Have All Been Waiting For

It’s tough to not get caught up in the excitement when a car company brings back an icon, but let’s be completely honest: nostalgia doesn’t move cars today. Buyers require substance, cutting-edge technology, and indomitable reliability. The Tata Sierra EV 2026 is an incredible blend of reminiscing about its roots and gazing straight into the future. Built on Tata’s new Gen-2 Acti.ev platform, the all-new Sierra jettisons the notoriously impractical three-door arrangement of the 90s for a far more family-friendly five-door layout.

Nevertheless, the design team excellently manages to retain the visible DNA of the car. The iconic wraparound glass at the back, the high mounted hood and the upright stance are all still there, proudly on display. However, Tata has introduced flat door handles, aero-optimized alloy wheels and a smooth closed-off front grille for better aerodynamics in the electric age.

It looks masculine, premium and there’s no denying it’s completely modern. It’s the sort of vehicle that will make a statement whether you’re driving up to a swanky restaurant in town, or taking it out on a weekend camping trip in the hills.

Tata Sierra EV 2026: Expected Pricing

Let’s discuss the what is perhaps the most important factor for any vehicle buyer: the price. EVs naturally have a cost premium over Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) vehicles because of battery costs, and the Sierra EV will be a premium lifestyle product in Tata’s expanding electric portfolio. It will most probably be positioned above the Nexon EV and Curvv EV, at the side or just below the top-tier Harrier EV.

The 2026 Tata Sierra EV base variants, equipped with the standard battery pack, are expected to start from a very attractive price bracket of Rs 15 lakh to Rs 18 lakh. That said, you should be prepared to pay somewhere between Rs 24 lakh and Rs 25 lakh (ex-showroom) for the top-spec, long-range variant which comes equipped with an All-Wheel Drive (AWD) system and all the tech goodies. Given the technology, space and road presence on offer, that pricing strategy could cause a few more established mid-size electric SUV rivals to waver.

The Tata Sierra EV Range

To build on the proven tech in the Curvv EV and the Harrier EV and to improve therein, Tata will probably offer the Sierra EV in multiple battery pack options.

Standard Range Battery: The base variants are expected to come with a 55 kWh battery pack, which is likely to easily provide the stated 450 km of range.

Long Range Battery: For highway travelers, Tata will offer an option for a high-capacity 60 kWh to 75 kWh battery pack. An IGA testing cycle might push up the Tata Sierra EV’s range from 500 to 600+ kilometers on a single charge with this bigger pack.

Even more exciting is the design of the drivetrain. Standard versions will be Front-Wheel Drive (FWD) for maximum efficiency, but high-end models are expected to come with a dual-motor All-Wheel Drive (AWD) configuration. That means the Sierra won’t merely have the looks of a rugged off-roader, it will have the instant-on torque and mechanical grip to get out and go on rough roads. Also, with anticipated vehicular (V2L) and vehicular (V2V) fast-charging functionalities, your SUV could be used to power your camping outdoor gear or give a quick charge to your EV buddy stuck on the road.

Stepping Inside: Next-Level Features and Tech

While the interior exudes futuristic luxury, the exterior draws inspiration from retro-modern aesthetics. When it comes to cabin design, Tata Motors has been consistently upping the ante and the Sierra EV will be their most premium and comfortable offering yet.

Triple-Screen Dashboard

The focal point of the interior will be an advanced triple-screen configuration. You will receive a digital instrument cluster for the driver, a huge central infotainment screen running the Arcade.ev app suite, and a separate screen for the front passenger to watch entertainment without diverting the driver.

Luxury Arrangement

There were also dual-zone climate control and a huge panoramic glass roof (dubbed “PanoraMax” – in a slight branding overkill) that claims to flood the cabin with sunlight and brings in the airiness of the original Sierra’s glasshouse. The interior would be lined in boned leather and the seats would be powered and ventilated.

Independent Rear Suspension (IRS)

A significant mechanical improvement over traditional beam axles, an IRS setup guarantees a cushy and stable ride on the chaotic and potholed Indian roads.

High Level of Safety

It likely comes with six airbags as standard, a high-res 360-degree camera, and Level 2 ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), including adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, and autonomous emergency braking.

Tata Sierra Launch Date

So when will you really have the wheel in your hands? The excitement had been simmering for years since the amazing concept was first seen at the Auto Expo and the wait is finally coming to an end.

By late 2025, Tata will have petrol and diesel variants but the electric variant will be out sooner. H1 2026 is expected to be the Tata Sierra EV’s official launch date. Trade reports indicate a release in the first or second-quarter 2026 (January – June). And if you’re in the market for a high-dollar car in the coming months, this schedule means the Sierra EV is certainly worth holding off on your buy for just a little while longer.

Quick Specs Overview

Conclusion

In a segment swarmed with bland SUVs that look like their competitors, the Tata Sierra EV 2026 stands out with its incredibly distinctive design. It revives the emotional link to a classic automotive icon while incorporating advanced technology, a practical driving range and true capability.

Be it the nostalgia factor, the statement Tata Sierra EV range or the tech laden high-end interiors, it is quite evident that Tata is pouring its heart and soul into this comeback. If you want an electric SUV that looks cool on the street and has an even better story, the Sierra EV could be the perfect addition to your garage.

Elon Musk Car Collection 2026: Tesla, Rare Cars & Net Worth

Elon Musk Car Collection

Elon Musk Car Collection

Have you ever asked the question, what does the World’s richest man drive every day or on a weekend trip? You can have any car you want when you have that kind of money. Elon Musk Car Collection is pretty different from what you’d expect. And rather than a massive collection of exotic cars like many billionaires, Musk keeps his automotive stable surprisingly modest, with car that reflect his own personality.

In the year 2026, Elon Musk isn’t just a CEO, he’s a global phenomenon. From taking Tesla to the next generation of robotics, to combining space exploration and artificial intelligence with his giant SpaceX and Grok AI enterprises, he’s living life at the pace of light. Yet even the rocket-builder and Mars-mission planner needs a dependable ride on Earth.

If you ever searched “how many car collections of Elon Musk” on any search engine, he has you running for a while with a pretty interesting story. His garage is a strange fusion of futuristic electric cars, rare historic classics, and movie props.

Let’s look into a detailed article. We will talk about his favorite daily drivers, vintage beauties, net worth shocker in 2026 and how much the Elon Musk Car Collection price exactly is. Let’s take a look at the incredible, fast paced world of Elon Musk vehicles!

Net Worth of Elon Musk in 2026

Before enjoying the beautiful cars in his driveway, we must first examine the extraordinary bank account that buys them. As of early 2026, Elon Musk is the richest person ever in human history, with other billionaires way behind him.

Elon Musk’s net worth has shot up to an unbelievable $844 Billion as per latest financial reports and global billionaire indexes Yes, you read that correctly. He is racing toward the trillion-dollar mark, a point that many financial experts believe he’ll reach very soon if his companies maintain their momentum.

But how did his fortune balloon so much by 2026? Among the largest is the historic $1.25 trillion mega merge between his space exploration company, SpaceX, and his artificial intelligence startup, x AI. This audacious deal combined the two companies to dominate both an outer space satellite net internet (Star link) and the AI business (Grok).

On top of that, his flagship company Tesla, has managed to successfully evolve from mere electric car manufacturer to massive robotics and AI powerhouse. This new age for Tesla is set to be marked by mass production of Optimus Gen 3 humanoid robots and the long-awaited, fully autonomous Cyber cab.

When your net worth is a cool $844 billion, purchasing a rare, multi-million-dollar vintage car is the equivalent of an ordinary person grabbing a quick cup of coffee. Musk is notorious for saying that he is “cash poor” as his vast wealth is tied up in company stock and investments. A couple of years back he sold virtually all of his physical real estate and homes to finance his mission to Mars. Even though he sold his homes, he did keep the cars he loved.

The Daily Drivers in Elon Musk Car Collection

1. Tesla Model S Performance (Plaid)

For Elon Musk himself, when he needs to travel quickly and comfortably to a business meeting, it’s likely that he’ll choose his Tesla Model S. However this isn’t a normal Model S, it’s the high performance Plaid Model S. It can go from 0 to 60 miles per hour in less than two seconds.

Elon Musk loves this car, because it makes the point that electric wheels can trounce even the most expensive and loudest gas powered race car around a racetrack. It’s cool and very comfortable and it has the latest, greatest self-driving autopilot.

2. Tesla Cyber truck

Elon Musk Car Collection is incomplete without the Tesla Cybertruck. It excites him most because of its on-road/off-road armored capability. He is driving Cyber truck himself for a long time despite the fact they are rare on the road until 2026.

And now, proudly proclaiming his delight in having an everyday decision over what to drive: “Whether to drive the dual motor+ performance+ stainless+ Cybertruck or drive the elegant Model S.” The angular, geometric design and impenetrable body of the Cyber truck make it the ideal physical representation of Musk’s defiant, futuristic image.

3. Tesla Model X

When you’re a busy “business dad” with a lot of kids, you need room. The Tesla Model X is Musk’s default family car. The signature Falcon-wing rear doors that open upwards aren’t just for show they were born out of Musk’s own frustrations with traditional family SUVs.

Before the Model X existed, Musk drove an Audi Q7, and claimed it was tough to ‘get his kids comfortable in the third row of seats in tight parking spaces.’ He insisted that the Model X doors open upwards, thereby completely solving the everyday annoyance.

The Rare and Vintage Classics (Elon Musk All Car Collection)

4. 1967 Jaguar E-Type Roadster

This classic British sports car was Musk’s first real love in the automotive world. When he was only seventeen, he looked at a magazine picture of a Jaguar E-Type and vowed to himself that when he made it, he would buy one. After getting a $40,000 bonus check from his first tech company, Zip2, he at last bought a 1967 Jaguar E-Type.

Old cars always seemed to be broken in some way or another. Elon Musk said his brand new Model S broke down on his first trip home from the dealer, Tesla CEO laughed. Jaguar E-Type The Jaguar E-Type is considered by many to the most beautiful car ever, none the less with all its imperfections and in vintage car racing he has a special, nostalgic place in his heart.

5. 1976 Lotus Esprit “Wet Nellie” (The James Bond Car)

This is maybe the most awesome, fun and iconic car he owns. When you watch the classic 1977 James Bond action flick The Spy Who Loved Me, you’ll no doubt recall the incredible white sports car that makes a dramatic exit off a wooden pier, plunges into the ocean and immediately turns into a working submarine.

In 2013, this very movie prop was put to auction in London. Musk was the winning bidder, and purchased it for just under $1 million. The movie prop didn’t transform, and it couldn’t even be driven on real roads! It was just a wet submarine shell in the shape of a car. Musk was slightly underwhelmed by the Hollywood hocus-pocus, but has said he hopes to convert the classic car to a “real, functioning submarine” at some point, with a futuristic Tesla electric powertrain.

6. The Legendary McLaren F1

Musk bought the ultimate dream supercar of the time: the McLaren F1 when he sold Zip2 in the late 90s and became a young tech multi-millionaire This was a genuine engineering marvel, with a maximum speed of more than 240 mph, doors that opened like a beetle’s wings, and a distinctive three-seat interior layout, with the driver in the middle.

The tale of this particular car is very well-known in Silicon Valley. Musk was bragging about the car’s blistering acceleration in 1999 to his business partner, Peter Thiel when. He punched it, lost control, spun into the air, and smashed the priceless car heavily into the road. To add insult to injury, Musk hadn’t even gotten insurance on the car!

Musk repaired the damaged McLaren F1 – one of his most legendary and dangerous early career stories – and sold it years later for a tidy profit, but it still stands as a testament to the risks he’s taken throughout his career.

7. 1920 Ford Model T

You are going to be very surprised when there is a 100-year-old, slow, awful car sitting in the high-tech garage of a man who builds spaceships. However, the historical automobile that changed the entire world was the Ford Model T. Not only was it the first inexpensive, mass-produced car that made it possible for an ordinary working-class family to travel by car. This 1920 Ford Model T is a best engineering model which makes Elon Musk get profound respect for his choices.

8. Porsche 911 Turbo

Porsche 911 Turbo is an excellent piece manufacturing model before and after Tesla. It stand forever on the road and ready to beat the race in its own ways. Musk took his Porsche 911 Turbo out for a spin. He also expressed his interest in speed and sports engineering.

But he also realized how dirty fuel was. That is an experience he would never forget, he said. This masterpiece inspired Elon to build an electric car which gives same features and specification as Porsche 911.

9. 1978 BMW 320i

This was the first car Elon Musk ever had. He bought it used for a mere $1,400 back in 1994. He renovated the place himself, purchasing inexpensive replacement parts from junkyards, he replaced the broken glass, and the filthy work receded hands-on mechanical labor. It was his reliable ride in the days when he was a struggling college student. Sadly, the car’s life ended when one of his first company interns borrowed it to make a run to the store and crashed it.

The 2008 Tesla Roadster (Star man) is Out of this World

The biggest invention, Tesla Roadster, the compact sports car which changes the world electric cars definition by sparking out with its unique abilities. It showed a skeptical public that EVs didn’t have to be slow, dumb golf carts. For many years, Elon parked his cherry-red 2008 Tesla Roadster but then sparked out with a creative idea which no one else’s ever done in history.

Tesla Roadster traveled through space under the Falcon Heavy mission that proved Elon’s passion for automotive engineering. That same car is now somewhere in orbit around out in space. Star man in a SpaceX spacesuit highlighting “Don’t Panic” showed it conveyed the message to anyone who might read it.

Conclusion

Elon Musk Car Collection is more than just a few rowdy space cars to flaunt in orbit. It’s a distilled expression of his brilliantly chaotic vision of the world.

His selections tell you the story of his life, if you pay attention. The Jaguar E-Type stands for his late teenage aspirations. The McLaren F1 is his first major success (and lesson in failure) in the financial world. The Lotus Esprit embodies his playful imagination and pop cultural adoration. And his relatively modern fleet of Tesla’s are a testament to his unrelenting, indefatigable, desire to change the future of our planet’s energy.

Tata Launches BaaS Across Its Whole EV Range: Is the Lower Price Real?

Tata Launches BaaS Across Its Whole EV Range

A Harrier.ev advertised at Rs 14.49 lakh looks like a different car from the Rs 21.79 lakh Harrier.ev on the regular price list. It isn’t because Tata launches BaaS. Tata Motors’ EV arm has moved the battery into a separate loan, so the sticker price falls while the battery cost still has to be paid.

Tata.ev has extended Battery-as-a-Service to Nexon, Curvv, Sierra and Harrier, after launching it on the Tiago and Punch. Tata’s battery financing option now covers all six models, so it’s worth working out what you actually save.

Tata Launches BaaS For All EVs

Buyers can still purchase any Tata EV with the battery included. Tata launches BaaS as an extra route, not a replacement. Tata calls it a dual-loan finance product: the vehicle and battery sit in separate loan accounts with flexible tenures, and multiple financiers are on board. The vehicle loan works like a normal car loan. The battery payment depends on battery size, down payment and tenure.

Tata’s Chief Commercial Officer, Vivek Srivatsa, said customers now want a choice in how they finance an EV as well as which one they buy. The company says the same vehicle technology, product experience and ownership support apply either way.

Tata Launches BaaS

Model-wise Tata EV BaaS Prices

Model BaaS vehicle price (ex-showroom) Regular starting price (with battery) Upfront saving vs regular price Battery usage cost
Tiago.ev ₹4.69 lakh ₹6.99 lakh ₹2.30 lakh ₹2.6/km
Punch.ev ₹6.59 lakh ₹9.79 lakh ₹3.20 lakh ₹2.6/km
Nexon.ev ₹8.99 lakh ₹14.34 lakh ₹5.35 lakh ₹4.4/km
Curvv.ev ₹10.99 lakh ₹17.19 lakh ₹6.20 lakh ₹5.0/km
Sierra.ev ₹11.99 lakh ₹18.79 lakh ₹6.80 lakh ₹5.5/km
Harrier.ev ₹14.49 lakh ₹21.79 lakh ₹7.30 lakh ₹5.9/km

The Harrier.ev’s ex-showroom price drops from Rs 21.79 lakh to Rs 14.49 lakh under BaaS. The prices apply to entry-level variants for personal users, and they exclude government levies, road tax, insurance and TCS. Tiago’s saving is the smallest and Harrier’s the largest, because a bigger battery means a bigger chunk moved out of the sticker price.

Battery capacity and claimed range for each model weren’t in the launch coverage that could verify, so check Tata’s own configurator before quoting specs in your budget.

How Battery Loan Charges Are Calculated

Tata quotes the battery cost per kilometre. The battery financing or usage cost starts at Rs 2.6 per km. Take a guess with these starting figures, as it’s not the rate for each model, so ask the dealer for the exact number on your variant.

Tata’s illustration assumes 60 km per day for most models and 44 km per day for the Tiago.ev. At Rs 2.6/km and 44 km a day, that works out to roughly Rs 114 a day, or about Rs 3,400 a month. Your real figure will differ with your driving and your financing terms.

Battery Loan Charges

The battery payment isn’t your running cost. Charging, maintenance and repairs are extra. Electricity still comes on top.

One warning applies to the whole scheme. The lower price is a separation of costs for financing purposes, not an equivalent discount on the complete vehicle. You are paying for the battery, just in a different account.

Tata BaaS For All EVs VS Rivals

Tata is catching up to a crowded field. Mahindra recently introduced BaaS for the XEV 9S and XEV 9e, and MG’s Hector Tomahawk EV starts at Rs 13.99 lakh plus a battery rental of Rs 4.90 per km. The same report says Hyundai’s Creta Electric, Kia’s Syros EV, Citroen’s e-C3X and Toyota’s Ebella also have BaaS options.

MG’s Rs 4.90/km is the clearest benchmark. At Tata’s 60 km/day assumption, that rate comes to about Rs 8,800 a month for battery rental alone. Tata hasn’t shared per-km rates for its larger SUVs yet, so it’s too early to say whether the Sierra or Harrier will be cheaper.

Tata BaaS For All EVs VS Rivals

Tata’s edge is that all six models are covered, so you can stay in one brand whether you want a Rs 4.69 lakh hatchback or a Rs 14.49 lakh SUV.

The main test is how long you’ll keep the car and how far you’ll drive it. Take the Tiago.ev. The Rs 2.30 lakh upfront saving divided by Rs 2.6/km gives about 88,000 km. At 44 km a day, that’s around five and a half years. If the per-km figure is the entire battery payment and the tenure runs that long, the saving is really a deferral. That ignores interest and any structure that couldn’t be confirmed yet.

Which Kind of EV Buyers Opt For BaaS?

  • Tight upfront budgets: you can afford the monthly payments but not a large down payment.
  • Low-mileage drivers: you drive well under Tata’s daily assumptions, so a per-km battery charge costs you less.
  • Short-tenure owners: you plan to sell within a few years and won’t stay on the battery loan long.

If you drive heavily or keep cars for a decade, buying outright with the battery included will likely cost less over time.

Conclusion

Tata launches BaaS for EV across models — Tiago, Punch, Nexon, Curvv, Sierra and Harrier. EV buyers can now finance a car on two different routes, this lowers the sticker but not the car price. This is not a discount, it’s a way to make a broader financing option for EVs.

Before signing, ask the dealer for the total down payment across both loans, the total payable over both tenures, and the battery EMI in writing. Compare that with a standard single loan. If the BaaS total isn’t clearly lower for your usage, skip it.

And if your budget is tight, consider this as a chance to buy an EV under Battery-as-a-Service scheme.

What is ORVM in a Car and How Does it Work?

ORVM in a Car

ORVM is a part you use everyday when you’re driving a car. Outside Rear View Mirror helps you navigate side vehicles and that’s why they are mounted on the doors of your car. But if you don’t know how to use it efficiently and how it works then continue reading this blog because it helps you understand why it is so helpful in driving and parking situations.

What Does ORVM Stand For?

ORVM is short for Outside Rear View Mirror. Car manufacturers use this term at professional standards to refer to the side mirrors which fit on the outside of a car’s doors. The official term is also used by mechanics and automotive engineers. It is presented on both sides — driver’s and one on the passenger’s side.

The term, ORVM, companies use to show their precision at standard level. In technical documentation, especially in manuals, insurance paperwork, and manufacturing specs, there’s also an IRVM, which refers to the inside Rear View Mirror because it is placed inside the cabin.

Having distinct acronyms avoids confusion between the two, since both serve a similar purpose but sit in very different locations and work differently.

Why ORVMs Exist in the First Place

Your eyes can miss blind spots especially at night so these mirrors will help you. Even being attentive while driving, you simply can’t see everything from the inside. The IRVM covers what’s directly behind your vehicle but it can’t show you the side view or on the diagonal side.

Both ORVM and IRVM are essentials for safe driving for yourself and others. They are mostly used during lane changes, reversing, or merging into traffic. If you use both kinds of mirrors, it cuts down blind spots and reduces the risk of collisions during turns or lane shifts.

ORVMs give the driver a wide-angle view of the lanes beside that’s why they are positioned on both sides of the car. It also helps in diagonally shifting lanes or overtake as it allows us to see slightly behind the vehicle.

How Does an ORVM Work?

When you look at an ORVM, it just looks like a plain piece of glass in a plastic shell. However, depending on the vehicle trim, a lot of engineering can be packed into that small unit. Here is a rundown of how it works.

1. The Mirror Housing and Glass

The core of the ORVM is the mirror glass itself, usually convex (slightly curved outward) rather than flat. The curve is deliberate — it expands the display of a flat mirror so the driver can see more of the road, although it does make objects appear a bit smaller and farther away than they really are. That’s also why the phrase “Objects in mirrors are closer than they appear” is written on a lot of passenger-side mirrors.

The glass is held within a housing, typically ABS plastic or a comparable resilient polymer, that is secured to an adjustable mounting bracket at the car door.

2. Manual vs. Electric Adjustment

Manual ORVM adjustment are quite common among older and budget cars, where you use your hand to push the mirror and adjust it. This is simple and inexpensive, but inconvenient, particularly if the driver has to adjust the passenger seat mirror on the road.

Electrically adjustable ORVM are offered in most of the modern vehicles. These have a small motor within the mirror housing that is controlled with a switch located on the door or in the center console. The switch allows you to select the left or right mirror, and then adjust it up, down, left or right by using a joystick control. This motor moves the mirror glass via small gears, giving you precise control without leaving your seat.

3. Folding Mechanism

Most ORVMs are available with a folding mechanism, manual or electric. This allows the mirrors to be folded in towards the body of the car. This is beneficial for:

  • Narrow parking spaces where extended mirrors might get bumped
  • Protecting mirrors from getting knocked off in busy traffic or tight alleys
  • Reducing the car’s width for garage parking

For electric folding systems, the folding and unfolding is handled by a separate small motor concealed in the mirror base, generally activated by a button or automatically when you lock the car.

4. Heating Element (Defogger)

In cold climates, ORVMs generally come with embedded heating wires on the glass surface. When activated it warms the glass slightly to remove fog, frost and moisture, with the result that visibility never is affected during winter or rainy weather.

5. Integrated Indicators and Cameras

Higher-end and modern cars pack even more into the ORVM housing:

  • Turn signal indicators: Small LED lights embedded into the mirror casing that blink when you use the indicator, making your turn more visible to vehicles beside and behind you.
  • Blind Spot Monitoring (BSM) sensors: Some ORVMs are equipped with sensors that sense vehicles in your blind spot and notify you through light or sound
  • Camera-based mirrors: A few premium and electric vehicles have replaced the traditional glass mirror entirely with a small camera, streaming a live feed to a screen inside the cabin. This reduces wind resistance and improves aerodynamics, though it’s still uncommon in mainstream vehicles.

Why ORVMs Matter More Than You’d Think

Your car’s mirrors are one of those things you don’t really notice until they stop working — a mirror gets knocked by a passing car, ceases folding, or the electric adjustment quits responding. But every time you are on the road ORVMs contribute significantly towards your safety. You use them to judge distances when overtaking, to see cyclists, other cars, trucks, or motorbikes hiding in blind spots, and when reversing or parallel parking.

ORVMs are getting damaged easily because they are outside of the car and get easily hit by anything, mostly in traffic areas and narrow parkings. Due to this, spare part dealers have their ORVMs listed with names for mechanics and car owners to quickly identify the required component for replacement against their car’s make, model and variant.

Conclusion

ORVM might seem like a complex term but in reality, it is nothing but the outside mirrors which all of us use many times in a day without even thinking about it. Knowing what goes into them, from the curved glass to the motorized adjustments, folding mechanisms, heating elements and, more and more, built in sensors and cameras makes you appreciate how much engineering is involved in keeping you safe on the road.

The next time you look at your side mirror before switching lanes, you’ll know there’s a lot more happening behind that little piece of glass than you realize.
